Bedroom rapper mixtape 2010

Before I was RandallMotivates, I was Double X.  

After years of recording music in my bedroom, burning CDs by hand, and selling mixtapes across California with no real studio setup or professional mixing, I finally got my first real opportunity. That moment became Bedroom Rapper — my first professionally recorded mixtape.  

This project captures the mindset, hunger, confidence, mistakes, ambition, and emotions of a young artist between the ages of 17–24 trying to find his place in the world. Some records were written years apart and later brought together for this release, making it a time capsule of my early journey before the man and brand I would later become.  

This mixtape opened doors for me… doors I eventually closed myself by quitting too soon. But the story never died.  

Bedroom Rapper is raw, unfiltered, emotional, aggressive, and honest — a look into the foundation of RandallMotivates before the growth, discipline, and purpose-driven message.
